Meet Wandi Susanto

Hi, I'm Wandi. I bring over 15 years of experience bridging academic research and large-scale industrial machine learning, during which I have led AI & Data Science teams to build impactful solutions. Over the course of my career, I have specialized in building highly accurate Deep Learning, Recommendation Systems, Computer Vision, and AI Document Analysis (OCR) systems designed to process sensitive data at a massive scale.

My journey in AI started in Germany, where I completed my Master's studies in Computer Science and Machine Learning at Saarland University and the Max Planck Institute for Informatics. This rigorous research background instilled a lifelong commitment to precision and structural excellence. Later, I had the wonderful opportunity to share this passion as a Guest Lecturer at the National University of Singapore (NUS).

Before launching My Bank Statement Converter, I spent years building & scaling AI ecosystems for companies where system failure was not an option. I have been fortunate to build and design AI systems for global brands like Alibaba - Lazada (Singapore), Traveloka (Singapore), AstraZeneca (Germany), and Doctor Anywhere (Singapore).
